Yes. Guests using Retin-A, prescription retinoids, or other skin-sensitizing products may still receive brow services, but waxing may not be appropriate. We'll modify your service as needed to protect your skin.
Please note, certain prescription medications, retinoids, topical steroids, chemical exfoliants, and acne treatments may make waxing unsafe. You'll receive detailed preparation instructions before your appointment, and we'll always review any concerns together during your consultation.

At PRMP, we use only the highest quality waxes for your comfort. We use 2 different types of wax-- soft & hard (we do not sugar). For more sensitive areas of the body, we use a hard wax that shrinks wraps, and hardens around the hair, and lifts from the skin creating a less painful removal. We use a more traditional soft wax for larger, less sensitive body and it is removed by using a cotton strip.
We also use a soy-based hair removal alternative for those with sensitivities.

About the length of a grain of rice, approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inches long. At least two weeks of no shaving or 4 weeks after waxing.

Everyone as a different level of pain tolerance. We won't promise a painless wax, but we do everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible using expert technique and premium products.
Taking ibuprofen or aspirin about 30 minutes prior to your appointment can assist with pain management.

Yes! You will be more sensitive due to increased blood flow to the area, but we do our very best to make you comfortable. If you have never been waxed prior to pregnancy or it has been more than a year, we will not perform full Brazilian waxing services during your pregnancy but we are happy to discuss other options.

Yes. While you may b e more sensitive during this time, you are free to wax as long as you wear a tampon.
